Days Hotel Hounslow – Complete Systems Implementation
In the Summer of 2008, RivaNET completed a major hospitality project near Heathrow – the 37th Day’s Inn Hotel in the UK; comprising 96 bedrooms, 3 conference suites, restaurant, bar, cinema and conference room presentation facilities.

RivaNET’s project scope included installing the structured data cabling, comms rack, workstation and server equipment, Windows™ 2003 Server, Microsoft Exchange™, Nortel BCM400™ Telephone system, secure Aruba™ wireless connectivity, Exterity™ IPTV, SmoothWall™ Corporate Firewall 2008, Lutron™ lighting control, integrated bar & reception touch-screen terminals, PDQ payment machines, high-definition cinema, presentation facilities and multi-room audio.

RM CC3 System Migration London-based Independent School
RivaNET have successfully managed the migration of a London-based Independent School with over 350 PCs from an RM Community Connect 3 (CC3) system to a 'vanilla' Microsoft network.
Backed up by the RivaNET support service, the school ICT department are now able to dedicate their time to delivering curriculum based activities instead of fire-fighting recurring issues.

Record Summer: ICT Refurbishments
Between July and September 2006, hundreds of new workstations, together with dozens of servers were implemented at countless schools across the UK.
This included both new and existing customers, ensuring that the latest technology is made available within the school environment.
RivaNET migrates the Northampton High School server infrastructure to Windows 2003 Server, implements a new firewall and delivers a high-speed internet connection.
The server upgrade includes the provision of two new servers together with upgrading the central switch to support Gigabit Ethernet; delivering a 10-fold speed increase.
A SmoothWall firewall now delivers filtered broadband access and monitoring for all the users. In addition the multi-channel ADSL connection provides a high-capacity cost-effective internet connection, at a fraction of the price of a leased megastream line.

By using the latest Windows 2003 server technology Moor House School now has a fully updated network setup to support the reliable operation of the 100+ school workstations.

Reconfiguration of Server and Network for The Renaissance Club
A complete systems overhaul was carried out for The Renaissance Club. This involved the secure backup of customer data, rebuild of the workstations with Windows XP Professional, and the introduction of a new domain-based network.
Sophos anti-virus with PureMessage (anti-spam) was also deployed on this occasion since much of their poor network performance was caused by virus attacks.
New Website for Chadworth Interior Designs
A stylish new leading-edge website has been developed by RivaNET which includes a re-branding of the client’s corporate image.
This new corporate image has now been utilised on the customers marketing brochures ready for launch in Summer 2006.
Firewall protection system provided for Stanley Betting International
RivaNET provide a SmoothWall Firewall solution to protect the IT services of this £350M organisation, together with offering an out-of-hours business support package.

Office Relocation and Network Expansion for International Institute of Communications
The relocation of telecommunications and network facilities to IIC’s new offices were fully managed by RivaNET. This was achieved during a carefully managed out-of-hours operation to eliminate any business down-time.
An overhaul of the existing IT infrastructure was carried out as part of the relocation programme, incorporating a full anti-virus and system integrity check.

Novell to Microsoft Network Migration for Dame Allan’s School
The existing Novell network was replicated onto a Windows 2003 Server environment with Active Directory to allow migration onto a modern infrastructure.
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005 are soon to be deployed onto this new infrastructure to synchronise with Active Directory.
VoIP Phone and presentation system for Martin Reinhardt Estate Agents
RivaNET install and commission a new state of the art VoIP (Voice over IP) telephone system to monitor and log all calls, thereby improving customer service.
A new quad-screen multi-display system has also been implemented into the shop window, enabling the dynamic display of new sales and letting properties.

Micklefield School Website launched
Micklefield School worked together with the RivaNET software team to develop a brand new school website.
Agreements established with Promethean and Smart Technologies
Interactive whiteboards were installed at a number of schools to improve the ICT facilities
within the classrooms. This new alliance with Promethean and Smart enables RivaNET to offer a
complete package, including electrical & IT installation, together with staff training for these
products.
